Chameleon scrims are available in many colors and in a 15' 8" natural fabric width. They cost about a 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of ordinary scrim (ordinary scrim is called sharkstooth).
Here a scrim is used to selectively diffuse set pieces and cause them to appear to be more distant.
